Filer starts you on a small model — downloaded once with your OK, then it runs offline. Good for questions about the folder you're in; it takes a moment to load after Filer starts. Pick a larger one for heavier work.

Scope
The tree decides what an agent sees and does
Every agent lives in one folder, and that folder is its whole world: what it can read, what it may change, how much it is trusted. Nest folders and the scope narrows with them — the same tree that organises your files organises your agents.
A trust level per folder
Seven levels, from read-only to fully autonomous. In the middle sits Productive: it writes and edits on its own, and asks before it deletes.
Secrets stay out
Credential files and system paths are denylisted. An agent never reads what it should not.
