  1. Purpose
    • These Terms of Use set forth the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between iyulab, inc. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") and users regarding the use of Filer software (hereinafter referred to as the "Service").
  1. Definitions

    2.1. "Service" refers to a standalone file management and AI-based search software that operates in the user's local environment.

    2.2. "User" refers to any person who uses the Service under these Terms of Use.

    2.3. "LLM Model" refers to large language models used within the Service.

    2.4. "Local Data" refers to all information (files, embeddings, conversation histories, etc.) stored on the user's device.

  1. Service Provision

    3.1. The Company provides the following services:

    - File management and navigation features
    - LLM model search and download
    - File embedding-based AI search
    - Chatbot building tools

    3.2. The Service is provided as a standalone desktop application, with all processing occurring in the user's local environment.

    3.3. The Service operates offline, with internet connectivity required only for optional features.

  1. Service Usage

    4.1. Internet connection is required only for the following optional features:

    - Downloading LLM models from public model registries
    - Using external AI service provider APIs

    4.2. User-provided API authentication information is stored encrypted locally, and the Company has no access to it.

    4.3. All data processing occurs in the user's local environment and is not transmitted to Company servers.

  1. Data Security

    5.1. All user data (files, embeddings, conversation histories, etc.) is stored and processed exclusively in the user's local environment.

    5.2. The Company has no access to and does not collect any user's local data.

    5.3. Users are responsible for their data security and should take appropriate backup measures.

  1. Limitation of Liability

    6.1. The Service is provided "as is," and the Company makes no warranties regarding its fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability.

    6.2. The Company is not responsible for the functionality, performance, or availability of third-party models or API services.

    6.3. Users are responsible for any loss or damage to their local data.

  1. Changes to Terms
    • The Company may modify these Terms when necessary, and any changes will be announced through the Service's notification system.
